About

Northington is an artist and former television executive in Atlanta, GA. She earned her BFA in painting from UMass Amherst and Masters from Columbia University. She spent her formal working career in the distribution of video content for Turner, HBO and Warner Bros. while continuing to create art and serving on the boards of various arts organizations. Donna is now back to being a full-time artist.

My work expresses a duality; first of a human being on earth connected to others and the greater universe through a collective consciousness. And second as a multicultural woman living in America navigating between the natural world and the built world. Mixed media elements representing the sky, atmosphere, cosmos, plants and architectural elements combine to depict this reality.
